Clanry respects your privacy. Here's exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We don't sell personal information. Ever.
01What we collect
What you give us
- Email (to create your account and send confirmations).
- Display handle (the
clanry.com/yournameyou claim). - Cryptocurrency wallet address (where your payments go).
- Transaction details when you buy or sell.
- Anything you include in support messages.
What we collect automatically
- Pages you visit, how long you stay, what you click.
- Device type, browser, operating system.
- IP address (for security, rate limiting, and DDoS protection).
- Essential cookies for session management.
What we get from third parties
- Transaction confirmations from payment processors (NOWPayments, Coinbase Commerce).
- Authentication data if you sign in via Google, GitHub, or similar.
Clanry never sees, asks for, or stores your wallet's private keys or seed phrases. Anyone who asks you for those is not us.
02How we use it
- Run your account and process transactions.
- Send you service-related notifications (signup confirmation, launch updates, security alerts).
- Improve the Platform — usage patterns, bug fixing, performance.
- Detect fraud and enforce the Terms.
- Respond to legal requests when required.
03Third parties we use
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with ad networks, data brokers, or analytics platforms. We don't store anything we don't need to run the service. Our internal storage — database, file hosting, email — is managed in-house and never exposed to outside parties.
The only third parties that see any of your data are the payment rails required to move funds and the edge network that keeps the site online. Everything else stays on our side.

Each provider above operates under its own privacy policy. We chose them because they have reasonable data-protection practices and because we have no workable alternative — crypto payments require a processor, a public website requires an edge layer.
04Data retention
- Active accounts: we keep your data while your account is active.
- Account deletion: personal info removed from active systems within 30 days, backups purged within 90 days.
- Anonymized data (aggregate metrics with no link to you) may be kept indefinitely.
- Blockchain records are on-chain and immutable. We cannot delete those.
- Legal holds: some data may be retained longer to comply with law or defend claims.
05Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal info.
- Correction — fix anything inaccurate.
- Deletion — request removal.
- Portability — export your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails any time.
- Withdraw consent — where processing was based on consent.
GDPR (European Economic Area)
If you're in the EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal bases for processing include contract performance, consent, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.
CCPA (California)
California residents have the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information — that third right is moot by design.

06Children
Clanry is 18+. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we find out we have info on a minor, we delete it and notify the relevant party.
07Security
We use:
- TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest where applicable.
- Access controls limiting who can see personal data.
- Regular security assessments and monitoring.
- Incident response procedures.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If a breach affects your data, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
08International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country of residence. We use standard contractual clauses and pick providers with adequate data-protection practices. By using the Platform, you consent to those transfers.
09Updates
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last Updated” date. For significant changes, we'll also email you.
